Ambassador Tech Services is an independent circuit board repair facility that specializes in printed circuit boards and laser units for copiers and fax machines. Rather than having to pay over $1,000 wholesale for laser unit repair and provide a 90-day warranty on Kyocera laser units starting at $112 for the KN1530/2030; Kyocera LDC700-800 series scanner units will be repaired for $87.

If your customers are experiencing C4200 Codes, wavy copies on the KN4530/5530 and LK700 series copiers and printers, poor copy quality and C420 codes in the Ai2310/3010, Ai4040/5050, KM4230/5230 or noisy KM1510/1810 copiers, you probably have a bad laser unit. The manufacturer’s dealer wholesale cost can be as high as $1,200, but ATS can repair these units for only $157 to $287.

Another member of the ATS arsenal of technical specialists is Mark Funk, in charge of the Analog Division. Funk earned his degree from DeVry Institute of Technology in electrical engineering and was a lab supervisor of research and development at Sunbeam’s Northern Electric Division, where he also did safety testing for Underwriters Laboratories as new-product safety tester. “It is our responsibility at ATS to make our customers’ job easier,” Funk says.
