35. A senior, knowledgeable person should review all your MA/CPC invoices on a regular (at least quarterly) basis. Look for clerical errors, color being billed for .008, invoices for $1.70, clients not being billed for lack of meters, non-profitable agreements, periodic increasing and anything else that does not seem right.  

Market Pricing Guidelines

1.A dealer’s listed maintenance agreement pricing should be for new equipment only at time of purchase or immediately at the end of the 90 day warranty. 

2. There is NO warranty on CPC priced equipment. Agreement must start on day one. 

3. When multiple machines are grouped together, take the average click per machine to establish pricing level, not the total clicks.

4. Do not sell CPC on stand alone fax or low end MFPs (consumer retail priced under $999).

5. On consumer segment MFP’s, consider offering in shop extended warranty to one full year for $159.  This rate is offered at time of purchase only, on select models that have a proven track record of reliability.
