You can enter multiple Component Tests. Xerox likes to call that “Chaining” the codes. That is done by entering the first code, then pressing the “Media” button followed by the next code you want to “chain”. You can enter several codes this way all together. This is helpful if you want to exercise a motor and watch to see if a sensor is seeing the component move. Finally we come to the “Special Tests” or NVM (nonvolatile memory) adjustments. You enter the codes the same way as the input or output codes, but to change a value, you press the “Enter” button and then use the “Previous” and “Next” arrow keys to select the value you want. Then press “Enter” again to lock in your selection.
