Esker signs $350,000 Agreement with Leading Technology Company in Australia

Madison, WI – December 22, 2009 – Esker, Inc., the leader in document process automation solutions, announced today that it has signed an agreement totaling $350,000 to implement Esker DeliveryWare for a leading supplier of information and communications technology solutions to Australian businesses, government and carriers. The Esker solution will automate processing of outbound purchase orders as well as inbound supplier invoices.

As part of its Kaizen approach to continuous improvement, the company wanted to optimize document processes and eliminate waste within its procure-to-pay cycle. These processes included a complex workflow involving central procurement operations in combination with multiple offices and overlaid business units.

The company is implementing the Esker solution to improve productivity by reducing the time required to create and process purchase orders at state offices and head offices, including approval and authorization at both levels. An automated workflow approval process will lead to more efficient communications within various divisions of the company based on clear delegation of authority. Other projected benefits include improved process tracking and control, cost reduction and visibility into processing of POs, invoices and expenses. In addition to preventing loss of documents and improving staff productivity with electronic archiving and no re-keying of data, the Esker solution will support the company’s regulatory compliance efforts, including J-SOX requirements.
