Tech Tip - Toners Explained Models: P4014, P4015 & P4515 Series With most printer series there are 2 versions of toner to be purchased - XXXXX-A (standard life) and the XXXXX-X (long life). There is an exception for the P4014, P4015 and P4515 series printers. The CC364A will fit the P4014, P4015 and P4515 printers. The C---C364X* will fit only the P4015 and P4515 models. The issue at hand is that the P4014 printer is not designed to accept the long life CC364X cartridge where the CC364A will work in all three models. A popular question has come up: Can the P4014 printer be modified to accept the CC364X long life toner? The answer is no. At minimum, physically, the top cover would have to be changed along with the two toner guides/stops located under the laser scanner frame - but even after this change, the printer will give an "UNSUPPORTED SUPPLY INSTALLED" message.
