2012 GOVERNOR’S TRAILBLAZER AWARD
(Brookfield, WI, February 3, 2012) --
Lola A. Tegeder, CEO/Chairman of
James Imaging Systems, Inc., Brookfield, WI,
has been selected as one of several
recipients of the 2012 Governor’s
Trailblazer Award for Women in Business. The
distinction recognizes women pioneers in the
business community.
James Imaging Systems, Inc., is a
family-owned provider of integrated document
technologies. Lola’s husband, James Tegeder,
was one of the founders of the company in
1977 and she took over its leadership after
his death seven years later. Under her
stewardship, James Imaging Systems has grown
significantly. The company now serves an
eight-county area and specializes in the
sales, leasing and servicing of
multifunctional copiers, fax machines, and
wide format and laser printers.
They also consult on print fleet
management to optimize workflow and reduce
costs.
“We provide equipment and advice that
streamlines a company’s information workflow
and enables them to run their business more
profitably and efficiently,” stated Tegeder.
“We strive to provide more choices for our
clients and add value by providing
customized solutions that address their
unique business needs. Our success and
continued strong growth has resulted from
motivated and dedicated employees focused on
providing superior services and solutions
for our clients in a timely manner. The real
keys are our top quality people and
responsiveness based on our local presence.”
“Private
sector businesses are key to our state’s job
creation strategies,” said Wisconsin Gov.
Scott Walker. “We’re fortunate to have many
women who have started a business and now
employee their fellow Wisconsinites. I hope
that these Trailblazers can serve as role
models to other women who are considering
opening a business and creating jobs.”
The
Governor’s Trailblazer Awards celebrate
women’s long history of entrepreneurship,
and deep roots in Wisconsin’s business
community.
Tegeder and 13 other women were
awarded the 2012 distinction. To date, the
Trailblazer Awards have recognized 44
Wisconsin woman-owned businesses across 21
counties.
